Charming Disaster - "Baba Yaga"

Baba Yaga is a character said to appear in contrasting roles. She originate from Slavic folklore. In some stories, she uses children to sate her hunger. In other stories, she helps the hero to defeat evil. It seems obvious to me that these are not separate entities, but rather one very dubious witch who seems to do whatever she pleases whenever she desires. Whimsical, powerful and terrifying - the perfect mix

2025-02-23 12:55:18 +0000 UTCIn Hungarian we call it "Vasorrú Bába" (Iron-Nosed Midwife lol) The male counterpart of the Iron-Nosed Midwife is the Rézfaszú Bagoly (Copper-Cock Owl) a terrifying fairy tale creature invented to scare children; copper owl, a scientist doctor called an owl, whose characteristic is that he has a copper tool (figuratively a dick) with which he pokes into the woman's genitals, he is "to be feared because he makes you shiver".
