Surprise!

Quinn reached out and asked if I wouldn't mind moving my Friday drop to Tuesday and I had no reason to say no, so here we are

Fun Fact - when I was working on [show] in [city] we went to see an opera with some big shot TV actor. She was very fun and very generous and she bought those of us interested in going box seats. The theater was very old but had clearly been well taken care of, and the box seats felt extremely ritzy. The thing that surprised me most was how freaking loud you could be up there. I was with 2 friends and said celeb, and we spent the majority of the show shouting commentary at each other that was barely audible. Like, full diaphram shouting. I have a program for the show somewhere but it's too hot to look for rn. The whole thing was in Italian and sounded lovely but by intermission we had so many drinks, I am 99% most everyone died at the end. It wasn't quite like "box seats" at a sporting event but I was surprised by the similarities. Namely, our own waiter and the idea that the opera was second to getting hammered

Anyways - this was a blast. I'll see if NJ can post the photo of the dress used for sound FX. We strive for authentic foley here

It's hot as fuck so expect slightly less recording until the sun lets up a bit. This AC unit from Throne is keeping me alive. My gratitude knows no bounds 🙏💜
