He believes that if he will do good things in his life all goods will come back. And it happened near Christmas. He deserved a personal elven girl that will make his dreams come true. He imagined being a tiny person in women's hands, and this is literally what Elaira will do with him. It's just the first part of a story about a gentle elf and Tom.
