I bring major good news regarding Ascension! 🥳
It's going to take a little while to make it, but I can %100 convert this rpg format to Unity AND add pretty nice extra features like dynamic lighting, visual GUI (inventory etc), a turn based battle system instead of QTE, and the much requested item/quest indicators.
Also, the movement is now much more fluid, as I'm not using tiles anymore. It makes a lot of difference imo.
This video is from a couple of hours work.
I'll be working on Ascension until the end of the month, and continue working on OBS2 after. So that there won't be any delay on OB episodes while I work on this.
But needless to say I'm beyond fired up. It's looking gorgeous & works like a charm.
I'll keep you updated.
(This also kinda means I can program Linen Tale on my own, so once Ascension S1 is out of the way, I may speed up it's development!)
