Hey everyone!
I'm currently trying to balance the timing of non-mc scenes with mc screen time, so that we can focus on our main group a little bit more, and the unrelated npcs a little bit less.
I'm also trying to find out a way to balance everything in the game, so it will be more fun for you.
You can choose as many options as you like. This is mostly for me to have a better idea on how to build future chapters and future games. π

I always really love your games and the deep lore in them, my only concern is that id like it if the romances were explored a bit more than they are now, because sometimes (at this stage of the game atleast) it feels like besides appearance it doesnt really matter who the baby's father is... But maybe thats just not the kinda game youre going for and i respect that as well!! I understand its so much more than just a love story, but what can i say i really like the disaster paretns MC and Virion hahahah

The difference is, while season 1 chapters were shorter and focused mostly on MC, season 2 chapters are long and focused more on the story/world. As I personally enjoy plot heavy games with deep lore, this is the way I do things myself too. But I agree, I have to find a balance between character interactions and the main character since this is a game for fun and not a serious art work or anything. π

The short of it is that it has turned into more of a kinetic novel than I would like, so I would appreciate a similar amount of dialogue choices as season 1. Good luck with everything, I'm obviously supportive of what you're doing.

There is a reason to every conversation we see, and there will be a time where all the pieces of the puzzle come together. Although if you are not interested in deep lore, I feel like my games in general may not be your thing. I'm not undecided or unclear on why or how those scenes will be used. I'm only undecided about the amount of scenes we see each chapter. So, rather than asking a question about how to make my games, I'm wondering about numbers. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I'm terrible at names, but the Kitty Ladies and the Elven married couple got scenes all their own, it started making me think they'd somehow join the group. But if the information they shared only got shared on screen with a member of the core group, it wouldn't feel like all this background knowledge my character would never get. If MC will never know the details of that conversation, we probably shouldn't see it ourselves. The reader has more information than the MC at that point.

But seriously, I think is great that you always ask about our opinions and take them seriously π I really can't wait for the second half of the 4th chapter! And if I may, I'd like to say that I feel like our characters are apart for too long... I wish Lea and Arwanwe joined the team already so we could see all of them interacting π (also, Virion and Argandea together would be amazing π₯ you spoiled us with the minigame and now I want more!)

Makes for a very real interaction between character development and plot unraveling. Also, I'M SORRY, IS THAT AN ELIUS ROUTE??? My prayers have been heard!

2020-12-19 22:00:35 +0000 UTCI have only playd the first two chapters of season 2, but the biggest change that bothered me between the two seasons was the hyper focus on all characters that weren't the MC. Every 6th rotation, I actually got to make choices instead of just reading. I play visual novels for the choices and only getting to make 2 dialogue choices per chapter isn't the greatest. That all said, Virion sobbing like a baby when MC reunited with him AND her actual elf baby (I've always wanted to have an elf baby due to Zevran in Dragon Age Origins and Fenris in DA2 and Dalish Wedding with Cullen in DAI) that don't want you to think I'm all gloom and unhappiness over here
