[SFW] ASK : ROBOTS!

I wanted to answer this not only for you Kell but everyone! It's something I'd love to see more of!
Of course there's several approaches to robots (classic gundam, steam punk inspo, organic, classic boxy bots - etc) but the more organic in nature are my favorite!
Examples of inspiration being: Evangelion mechs, Metal Gear Solid builds, Horizon Zero Dawn, tekkon kinkreet environments, inside of old clocks and stuff like https://obokhan.tumblr.com/ or http://rhubarbes.com/ all are a HUGE INSPO for me!
It's easy to pick and choose stuff from existing tech and integrate it into little post apocalypse elements in the bot you're designing <3 Tossing in weird little hinges on the knees, gaskets and shocks back of legs etc. Lot of tinkering but you'll find something that fits <3
As far as expressive nature it's all about posture and positioning. Most that I design don't have the face LED / readouts so they're more reliant on fully body / gestures to convey feeling. Hope that helps!!! XOXO
