The love between Zoro and Sanji exists. Neither would allow the other to lay down their life. No one is as loyal as Zoro. He is amazing.

Its just that their dreams are blended with Luffy's dream to be King of Pirates now. I just love our crew. And this kind of family and nakamaraderie are just SSS-Tier that yes you can find in other animes but cannot be masterfully portrayed as great as OP can

2024-06-26 11:30:28 +0000 UTCSo it just settled in things are going to get really complicated for the next saga and while the duo is better than some reactors at perceiving what's going on they can get lost and confused someone might want to keep notes for them and give refreshers in interim or breaks even my knowledge has taken a few lost brain cells trying to keep it in for this long without refreshing oda is mad crazy.

2024-06-26 08:16:22 +0000 UTCOne thing that i like about "nothing happened" is that we always see how much Zoro trains his body (and mental like swimming in the ice in Drum Island), and how he overcomes physical damage that is beyond a normal person can endure, he is always taking deadly damage for a human (like against Mihawk and Mr.1) and survives so he was the the only person in the crew that could actually take Luffy's pain(sorry Sanji). Another thing that i always like to remember is that in episode 2 Zoro says that he would not forgive Luffy if he intervened in his dream of becoming the Greatest Swordsman, so the sacrifice for Luffy's dream is so beautiful. Lastly, he is the first mate, so falls under him to protect the whole crew if/when Luffy is incapacitated, and seeing him do that is very cool. Sanji trying to offer his head to save Luffy and Zoro is beautiful since we always see them fighting, but when things get hard the nakama will always do everything in their power to save eachother.

With the next arc, you are entering what many call the golden age of One Piece! I'm just sayin', you are not ready!

I'm sorry everyone :/ In spite of that, this is one of my all-time favorite moments and the one that solidified Zoro as my favorite Strawhat.

Water 7 and Enies Lobby getting into self worth and losing a loved one, then Thriller bark going into losing everything and recovering from a tragedy. The overarching themes are so deep and flow so well. Being caught up gives such a wide view on everything and it deepens the impact.

Heather, you cracked me up with your comments these last few episodes 😂 Jason not having faith, the balls...you were on fire, girl 🤣🤣 and Jason, I totally understand how you felt when everyone was getting their shadow back but our nakama were still burning in the sunlight! Now to the shocker finale! You can finally tease other poor oblivious reactors about how "nothing happens" in this arc! 😂😂 Zoro gained so much respect from me after the last episode! He is the goat 🐐 (without forgetting about Sanji, who was ready to do the same). Jason, I know you feel like something is missing after watching 377 and maybe wanted to get straight into 378, but believe me, it is the way you should watch it for maximum effect. And lastly (geez, sorry for the long post) what did I tell you about the power that Kuma exudes?! Amazing storytelling, once more. Oda is Goda for a reason.

'Forget it' should have been 'I/we refuse' and 'Luffy will be king of the pirates' should have been 'Luffy is the man who will become king of the pirates'. Minor issue's but I think the scenes hit harder when they are translated this way. I think they both show more resolve while the other seems weaker in comparison.

2024-06-25 18:20:46 +0000 UTCMany things happened and will happen in One Piece before the end…crazy stuff… but one thing will never change: Zoro’s loyalty to Luffy. That will never wave…never. He was ready to give up his lifelong dream for Luffy, and took over his captain’s pain with no complaints or hesitation. Once a fan asked Oda about the length of Zoro’s loyalty, and Oda replied that if one day Luffy asks Zoro to kill one member of the crew, Zoro will do it with no hesitation. This last few episodes were a nice sneak peeks of what’s out there: Dangerous Warlords, the government plotting against you in the shadows, the New World being a crazy place…our crew not being ready yet. Looking forward to end of this arc, because it’s not over yet.
