As someone else has mentioned, image the Red Line like our Prime Meridian (so vertical) and it's the only continent in One Piece as far as we know. the Grand Line is like our equator (so horizontal). This means that the Red Line splits the Grand line in 2 halves. Right now we have only been through the first half of the Grand Line. We are at the opposite side of the globe compared to Laboon. Right now, if the crew manages to reach the other side of the Red Line in front of them, they will be in the second half of the Grand Line, called the New World. If you Google the images of 'one piece world' you will have clearer idea of the globe. These image are spoiler free as far as I can see.

However what they don't realize is that the Red Line is like the Prime Meridian in our world, its an invisible line that separates our Eastern and Western Hemisphere's. In the one piece world their Prime Meridian is a actual land mass that's a line. When you start at the Red Line, then next time you will reach it would be halfway from were you started because it wraps around the whole world. So Laboon is actually on the other side of the world and we have a really long time to even travel to him.

I felt compelled to leave a hype message for this arc, since it is my favorite! For me, One Piece truly distinguished itself as the top 3 anime stories all time after this, and I cant wait for you all to experience it. I dont know about others, but for me every story has some moments when you feel a "wham! bam! whooaaaa!!! moment and to be honest, one piece has a few of them since they entered grand line, but to me what lies ahead is the main course for the first half of your grand line journey, bon apetit!

2024-07-02 03:26:14 +0000 UTCwatching Zoro lift weights while not being fully healed reminded me of when i woke out of a coma back in 2021. the Doc said i would be bed ridden for at least 3 months but i was hitting the gym 3 weeks later. my Brother and his wife(she's a nurse) came to visit me and she got mad because i was suppose to be in bed resting but i had just came from the gym. my brother said "i thought i would walk into your room and see you bed ridden".. i said, " what? boy, i got that D. .in my name " Lol....call me a Zoro-tard if you like, he is truly my inspiration.

2024-07-02 03:15:59 +0000 UTCI wanted y'all to get Laboon during Brook's back story, but I didn't think it would make it in time. Then by some miracle it did, and I didn't message y'all immediately. Such a missed opportunity! Anyway, the crew has made it halfway around the world. When Brook said he was going to move straightforward to meet Laboon at the front. Since Laboon is looking towards reverse mountain and the red line, when they circle the world, they will go over reverse mountain and meet face to face then. Brook will not retreat backwards, although that would mean that they can meet sooner. That would break the promise Brook and his crew made to Laboon. If Brook turned back to reach Laboon faster, he would not be the same person who made that promise 50 years ago. He must circle the world so that he can stand proudly as a man and say, "I've kept my promise to you and our crew Laboon!" To return would be to betray his crew and Laboon, that would truly make those 50 years of waiting a waste. Then Brook would truly be dead and no different than the zombies on thriller bark. a soul pretending to be the person the body was when it was alive.
