2024-07-12 02:18:03 +0000 UTCAOT sub and dub are both really good I’d give the sub 1 point above the dub 51% 49% but episode 16 is really good in the dub especially the commanders big moment the dialogue is better and voice actor goes ham I’ve watched it in both sub and dub and it’s by far better but of course to each is own. I’ve also watched a couple other Chanel’s that did both sub and dub and just for this one episode they chose the dub. Hopefully you guys love it and continue the rest in dub as I mentioned before you guys are going to get a bunch of information thrown your way.

Also you both just saw that Bert's Colossal Titan's standout special ability. Basically he can create an explosion similar to a tactical nuke going off when he transforms. This is on top of being able to generate steam, heat and his Titan's colossal size. Anyways I can't wait for your next reaction.

You’re about to see some of best writing and storytelling which is what makes Attack On Titan so damn good !!! As you’ve already seen to this point, it just gets so much better!! No I don’t think so. 🤣 The conversation with Armin and Bertholdt and the scenes after with the music and great animation, always gives me chills. This episode is so cool since we finally figure out how Marco died. In season 1 episode 13 we briefly see him turn around (minute 11.43) which is reference to what we just saw! And in ep 13 we then find out he died off-screen (minute 16.43) then in ep 18 (minute 18.22) Jean tells Eren how not everyone gets a dramatic death, some die without anybody seeing them, alone… but in this episode the flashback says otherwise! Marco was basically murdered and actually found out part of the truth way before anybody of the main characters we follow now had since he overheard the conversation between Reiner and Bertholdt, and put the pieces together… Such great writing and use of the flashback

2024-07-11 17:23:52 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to an English dub, perhaps waiting for a show where the dub is undeniably better than the sub would be a good option? Some shows fans put in this category are: FMAB, Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Beastars, Trigun, The Devil Is A Part-timer, & (the most infamous dub) Ghost Stories. My fave dub (that’s better than sub) is Ouran High School Host Club—both versions are worlds apart in landing the comedy. As for Isayama… he’s currently working on a one-shot manga (like a short story) collaboration with Yuki Kaji (Eren’s VA) about the dangers of AI called Soyogi Fractal. However, he’s had a bad relationship with his fandom & received lots of backlash from the mixed reception of the AOT ending. He has mentioned he’s lost a lot of drive to create after finishing AOT, but does want to create more in the future.
