and There's a deadline. for 2025. It involves the Earth. The Planet will do something. That is why Jesus chose to come back at this period of time. when the planet goes through a cosmic Shift.

HauntedDoll_Annabelle

Since This one is human trafficking episode im watching here. I feel like i need to give u guys a very Good news. The trafficking is ending. due to Divine Intervention. They are ending it. Most if not all children and woman. has been rescued and put into Ships. Hospital Ships on each coast of the USA. They are healing their trauma slowly. The Good ETs and Celestials are involve in ending it. We are not alone in this. Most underground trafficking tunnels and underground bases has already been bombed. destroyed. Children Rescued. The 2nd Coming is scheduled for early 2025. After some Big announcements disclosure and arrests on TV, take place. A few days of Hard Lockdown will happen at the same time as the disclosure thing. Lockdown will probably start first. There's no 2026 for us.

HauntedDoll_Annabelle

Yes, we ended up figuring it out as we moved forward from these earlier points! It’s pretty perfect now! 👍❤️✌️

Jason DeVan

your voice is inaudible since op voice is too loud. ur water 7 audio settings were way better.

rohit

After listening to the last part of the video and your personal story I feel closer to you guys and like you even more. Thanks for for being who you are

Al_es_sandro

I totally agree and I wouldn't even say that construction worker is wrong. A ton of us are just trying to get by, put food on the table, trying to make a life for ourselves. We know evil exists but truly what am I supposed to do about it? I can't even afford to take care of myself. We need to hold our governments accountable for not annihilating human trafficking. It sickens me that our governments are super corrupt and turn a blind eye or even participate in stuff like this. That's an important point that Oda wrote into this episode. The government knows this is going on but turn a blind eye. Exactly the same in real life.

Derek Cook

But also the hopelessness you feel with not sure the people being sold but for the Straw Hats and Camie! <3

PegasusDragon

The greatest, most epic of Punches in all of ANIME! ever! Omg I will never not love that punch! It is top tier for sure!!!! The absolute satisfaction it gives after everything building *it felt* to this moment!

PegasusDragon

100,000 times more satisfying than the Bellamy punch.

Voltakackackack

such a master of his craft

Regie Khemvisay

one of the most satisfying scenes

Regie Khemvisay

ladies and gents, the goofy anime that ppl still refuse to watch coz theres too many episodes great discussion guys and im sure u guys were able to change lots of lives with ur non profit org. im so proud and grateful to have come to know u guys.. Oda sensei is such a special person who have given us OP that teaches us so many things and remind us of the issues and suffering that humanity have faced and how we endured. cant love this show enough

Regie Khemvisay

Nah! My boss listens to me, he is a reasonable person deep down. The clients are not criminals, they usually just want privacy and they are more worried about being reported to the police with a suspicios transaction report than giving delicate details to me. If we decide not to onboard them because they are not compliant, they will find another office to do business with. I'm not in any danger. But that's sweet, thanks for being concerned about me, Kenji!

Lucia Petrozzi

ur comment sure had no effect

Kenji

isnt that dangerous for you though? they might silence 😧

Kenji

One of the greatest punches in fiction. Luffy, the embodiment of freedom, sending a symbol of oppression flying like that is just so fucking good. It's also crazy to think back on the Arlong arc, even in the live action. SO many people out there who only watched the live action have no idea what is in this world and how far it will go. They might never know. Real life is similar

SomeoneElse

Really like that you guys are pausing now to talk about stuff

SomeoneElse

Love your guys reactions! Been watching since you started One piece. I love how One piece a show/manga that many perceive as just goofy tackled themes like human trafficking and discrimination. Oda delves into a lot of darker themes and the way he juxtaposes his whimsical art style with real world dark themes is masterful.

Super Novice

My favorite one punch in any media. And awesome to hear you guys did nonprofit organization stuff involving that kind of stuff. And yeah One Piece displays touchy subjects like racism and slavery very well and way better than western stuff. Straight to the point not agenda or whatever. And I truly think reading One Piece or having lessons analyzed in school would be a great thing for everyone! A lot of people could learn something about being a good person.

Whoopsie

I think people are just focused on their very lives more so then everything else going on. I remember watching an interview a while back were they were talking about the underground sex trafficking trade, and they had different people from different walks of life talking about their opinions on it. I remember the one guy who was just a construction worker, and he said " Yea it sucks its going on, but unless its affecting Me as a person, their isn't much I can do about it" "Its more important for me to get to work on time, to help my family, and to get everything done that I have to do" I think that how a lot of people see it, they care, but they care more about themselves and their family, and most importantly they don't think they can do anything.

Cheddah Slammer

I read a thing a long time ago that said each of the animators working on this episode drew one frame of the punch because it was such a hype moment for them.

For Jason's inquiry, the Sabaody arc began in July 2008. Despite criticisms from those unfamiliar with or dismissive of One Piece for its perceived goofiness, it's precisely the blend of whimsy and hope that allows me to endure and engage with the unfolding darkness and gritty reality presented in One Piece. Luffy and his nakama are like a ray of sunshine and a vital force in their world. They not only care for and support each other but also extend their kindness to others they meet on their journey. As they become stronger and more capable, Oda gradually reveals the true complexities of their world. What initially appear as simple confrontations with adversaries evolve into deeper explorations of moral dilemmas and societal injustices. Despite their reluctance to embrace the role of heroes—preferring to remain pirates—their actions inevitably impact those they cherish. Oda skillfully guides both characters and readers through these revelations step by step, peeling away layers like an onion to expose deeper and darker truths about power dynamics, propaganda, and the manipulation of language within the One Piece world. In other words, Oda is prepping Strawhats, as well as the readers. One Piece always hits close to home for me. It resonates deeply, drawing parallels to real-world issues where language can be weaponized to control and deceive. Concepts like "devil fruit" and "absolute justice" in One Piece mirror contemporary discourse, prompting reflection on how language shapes perception and understanding. One Piece encourages critical thinking and challenges blind acceptance of surface-level truths promoted by institutions like governments, schools, and media. It emphasizes the importance of questioning, observing, and independently learning to uncover the truth — a journey that ultimately benefits oneself and others. This depth and complexity are why I find myself repeatedly rewatching One Piece, whether alone or with reactors. Each rewatch offers fresh perspectives on familiar scenes and conversations, deepening my appreciation for the series' multifaceted narrative. As Jason aptly said, "One Piece for life," in every sense of the phrase. LOL

theshittycook

It's the contrast in themes a fun and carnival type island but underneath the island is a dark and sinister secret

Long Huynh

Heather and Jason thank you for sharing your experience working for a nonprofit organization

Long Huynh

Not sure if anyone has said anything about episode 405, but its one of the best in the series. And I hope you guys look forward to it and make sure its not the first episode you watch that day! One piece just keeps getting better!

Jake Belcastro

You guys just saw one of my top five luffy punches. The way he punched that celestial dragon is insane and i cant wait for you guys to see whats coming up.

Nesz Vids (Eric Perez)

This punch is the most badass and satisfying punch in history. Punching Bellamy is only come in 2nd.

theshittycook

these topics hit me hard especially now because i am current going thru with racism along with my real world struggles a accident not even a far as a week ago i don’t talk a lot about myself because my story is long and very sad in which i don’t mind telling but i call myself smiley face because its not a lot to smile about but the effect of what racism has caused in my life is real and seeing the reactions that yous have shown makes me feel a little bit better bout the world

smileyface

A few people have already said it but the end of this episode is known for having the best and most satisfying punch in all of anime. Oda has raised the bar to a whole new echelon with this arc and shows how the "untouchable" Celestial Dragons are the absolute scum of the One Piece world. And I believe Oda uses this plot to parallel the extreme injustices that take place everyday in our own world. We are dealing with our own "untouchable" class of puppet masters who hide behind closed doors and pull the strings and fabricate distractions to divide and control us with financial hardship and fear. Look at everything that is happening in the world today. The politics, religious crusades, national tragedies, and all out war is just one big smokescreen for the despicable game in which we are pawns for these faceless elites to carry out their profound injustice. One Piece on the surface may seem like a silly adventure about pirates and the power of friendship but at its core Oda is really trying to open our eyes to the reality of the situation that we all have endured for so long. Like a ship being tossed about in the raging waters of a storm, we can open our eyes and see off to the horizon, there is a light. If we all stand up and work together we can weather the storm and get there. Finally, I will say, I have watched you guys follow this journey from the beginning and it has been an absolute pleasure to see how it hits you like it hits me and all of our nakama. This feeling is what makes One Piece so special, and why every one of us are so deeply connected. As we journey on together we will and spread the messages of this story we can all share the hope of bringing our humanity to new heights and into a dawn of peace and prosperity! So much love to you all!!

Adam Reuter

Just to piggyback on Heather's comment on not putting people on a pedestal. My line of work is to investigate on the clients we take before we onboard them. That means going back to the way they built their wealth and make sure it's clean money. I see A LOT of wealthy people trying to avoid getting their private matters investigated or probed into. My job is to get them compliant with the law and ask the uncomfortable questions, so I always try to dig deeper. Some of these people though, they are powerful and filthy rich, so at times I get requests by my boss to go easy on them as they are "respectable" people. My answer to him is always the same: they are the ones that MUST be investigated, not the butcher around the corner. And I never stand down. But that's the reality we live in. The more you have power and wealth, the more people around you shut an eye or two. We cannot put people on these pedestals.

Lucia Petrozzi

The punch heard round the world lol

Sean Bey0nd

so much chaos and the arc just started...its about to be Oba (extremely) Kux (insane) in here .

Oba D. Kux

Hey this comment was brought to my attention, and is going into spoiler territory, if you can please edit or remove. Thank you!

Tina

You have just witnessed one of the most satisfying punches in One Piece, I really want to see this in live action. Now for the heavy topics; these episodes definitely got me thinking about many philosophical questions like what's freedom? What's power? The role of the media, and the people who own/pay for the media. I think these episodes were a tipping point in my younger years and that every young person should be exposed to these questions to help them develop critical thinking. Oda is great at presenting touchy subjects in a way that is disturbing, but not so crude that makes it impossible to watch (still difficult for sure).

Potzi

and it's just a little bit of what's to come.

Leandrorr

I'm really glad you guys took my advice and I'm happy you understood why I asked you to. This is OP for you. It's a show that doesn't shy away from touching uncomfortable issues and makes you stop and think. Constantly. I could see Heather's energy dimming throughout these episodes and her face would only lit up when Luffy was on screen. That's our captain. That's the hero the world doesn't know it needs. We live in pretty horrible times right now. Lots is happening around the world and we feel like bystanders, incapable of changing anything. We have been raised to think that we cannot make it better because the world is cruel and corrupt and we are insignificant. But that's not true. We are a force to be reckoned with. We can do something by voicing our opinions, by participating, by sharing, by voting, by boicotting, by not being complacent when injustice occurs. We have the right to knowledge and the right to understand our history, our past so we can avoid repeating the same horrible mistakes. And here we come to the main part of the problem. Education. We are taught how to do math in school but we lack in critical thinking. We allow our schools to be underfunded, we let them dumb us down, on the internet, on the TV. And we have become the modern slaves, slaves to a society that sells us happiness in a pair of shoes or in a luxury car. Schools are the first shield against these threats to our humanity. We can become better people when we are educated. When we are able to form our own opinions and when we are able to fight for them and in our believes. I loved your reaction and your final discussion. Hearing your thoughts on this made me think I'm in the right place, here with my Nakama! Love you guys and I am proud of you for having acted on a very serious issue like human trafficking. I'm proud to be part of this family!

Lucia Petrozzi

AnimeTeeJay

Also prepare yourself for the future eps. The real peak of OP is on the way

Ming GAO

When i first watched OP i was too little like only 15 years old and really knew nothing. OP was just a fun journey show for me back then. But after rewatching it in 2022, i was so surprised that how many deep the topics Oda has talked about under the fun surface. This show is so connected to the real world. And the true one piece world is actually full of sadness and heartbroken history and politics. The only unreal thing in this world is Luffy who would punch out all the unfair and sadness and find a way for you to get happiness. OP story is such a realism topic but telling by an idealism way (Not sure if the word i am using right or wrong)

Ming GAO

Now I don't want to be a downer after that but this isn't a oda only thing there are hundreds of anime/manga/manwha and novels with these things in it with absolutely worse or better showings and portrayals of the situation some even hopeless or no good ending and while that does make this less affecting to me and I dissociate between fictional worlds and historys pretty will it's still a great moment because he makes the build up you hate charlos so much and the Luffy punch was supreme animation history.

erueka6

Luffy punched that nasty PoS back to the manga! Oda really hitting us with both discrimination and human trafficking at the same time. It's why he draws and makes things look colorful and goofy, to balance how dark the material can get with these topics.

Tina

Great discussion and great episodes. I loved the One Piece music in the background--very atmospheric ;P Looking forward to the rest of this short arc. As we learned when Sogeking shot down that flag in Enies Lobby, the Straw Hats will unabashedly make an enemy of the World. I just hope they're strong enough to withstand the storm that comes.

Reagan

Thiller Bark and Long Ring Long Land serve the same purpose. They give you a lite fun story before Oda hits you with a massively heavy story, and this story is heavy.

Fold

Also in real life, the just broke up a human trafficking ring like 30 miles away from me in Princeton, Texas this last week. This stuff is alive and well. And won't go away until people actively work against it

Dylan Drozeski

Punched him into the manga lol. God I love it. The best punch in One Piece. Having the pirate captain bite his tounge off rather than be sold was really the perfect garnish for what Oda has cooking

Dylan Drozeski

When One piece starts showing it's true colors it's amazing. The parallels and depth with this level of presentation is commendable.

Adam V.

You aren't ready for what's to come.

Animeter

This is why One Piece will forever be my favorite show. The subjects it goes through to be able to start such very important conversations.

Jade

You guys are in for a suprise.

Incredible handful of eps! But cmon yall definitely knew Rayleigh and this punch was coming. Best punch and one of the best reveals that the series so it doesn't get much better!
