The way he does those screams and his personality is just so funny and adds from the manga, it does help buggy is one of my favorite characters but i think he is one of the highlights of japanese VA in One Piece

2024-08-12 17:02:04 +0000 UTCThe reference to the escaped prisoner is a build up to the movie strong world. This is the first time that they referenced a movie in the anime. From this point on there will be filler episode to hype up the movie made that year. The filler will be a short adventure that allows you to hear whispers of characters or places that will be in the movie. I believe the movie this episode references is the first movie Oda was involved with the story. The movies from this point on are way better than the ones before it. I believe the first seven movies didn't involve Oda, after those movies the next several are movies of old arcs such as Alabasta and Drum island. The 'remakes' are drastically shortened with a lot of details missing. While not a very good as a substitute for the anime, it can be cool to watch for the updated animation. The movies show the main events in the arc but since it is shorted a lot of context and emotional detail are left out.
