Magellan and his ppl are just doing their jobs, and now someone who destroyed a country, made so many ppl suffer and killed countless is gonna be freed again. But because of Luffy we're all rooting for them to get out. We dont think abt it deeper coz Luffy is there, but that's exactly what Luffy did. He freed criminals and is destroying Impel Down's reputation. But what the hell, lets go save Ace!

Luffy is currently setting free hundreds, maybe even thousands of criminals. Sure there are some good people in there but there are plenty of bad people too. Hannyabal was mostly a gag character but he fought hard to protect the people living on the outside. I love that Oda gave him a moment like that

This arc has been a wild ride, and we all know Oda will do an A+ job at telling this world-changing event that is unfolding in front of us.

2024-08-31 06:19:26 +0000 UTCHannyabal (Vice Warden) giving Luffy the taste of his own medicine. Now we know how many of villains feel when fighting Luffy and he gets up after being beat down. Luffy gets back up because of his drive to become the pirate king, while the Vice Warden keeps getting up because of his drive to become the Warden. They both have Dreams even though the Vice Wardens dream isn't as grand as Luffies is. Their are tons of Parallels like this between characters throughout One Piece. You even get a Parallel between Luffy and Blackbeard, both broke into Impel Down, both get Poisoned by Magellan.
