Have you ever played super mario bros 3? Do you remember when Mario gets the leaf..he turns into a tanuki. Well in japanese mythology...there's a creature called the tanuki ( what chopper is mistaken for) that can shapeshift but they need to have a leaf on them in order to shape shift.

Although Zoro is a pirate and I believe he has a moral compass he does want end a good marine. Fighting "evil" pirates that have a moral code that may cause them to spare your life is a difficult pill to swallow. Swordsmen may have their own code but that does not mean they don't also have a code that would protect women and children. When you have a moral code that conflicts due the actions of another you must make the best choice you can. Tashigi is a good marine with the face of his old friend. As for Law as much as Tashigi might not like he might find it distasteful to end her. But I also did not notice your point it is a new perspective for me.

The same happens when people get cut from Law in his area of surgery, they also stay alive. I heard you saying Vegapunk is the one from thriller bark. Well, no! That was Dr. Hogback. Vegapunk hasn’t been revealed yet. The few things we know so far are those information mentioned in the last few episodes.

In this instance it isn't really her needing respect from those that are stronger its more about when two swordsman fight, the stronger one is supposed to kill the weaker one. We at least know that Tashigi believes this based on when Zoro let her live in Loguetown. They repeated her thinking back to smoker saying "Pirates will always be Pirates" because she realized that Law isn't going to follow the Swordsman code because he is also a Pirate.

2025-01-25 05:14:11 +0000 UTCI don't think that when Law switches peoples bodies he is actually switching their hearts. I think it more of a representation of a person being switch with another. The image of a brain switching would be much more gruesome and harder to draw.

He’s basically the navy’s top scientist and has done a lot of things. Think of him as the Albert Einstein/ Leonardo Da Vinci of the One Piece world. During the timeskip, Franky landed on Vegapunk’s childhood home island. Vegapunk has also been mentioned to be the one who modified Kuma into the human weapon and created all the Pacifista clones. He also is the one who found out how to feed a devil fruit to an object like Mr. 4’s dog gun in Alabasta Arc and Spandam (eww hate him) the leader of CP9’s elephant sword in the Enies Lobby Arc. You mentioned Thriller Bark and I think you are thinking of the warlord Gecko Moria.

2025-01-25 02:13:34 +0000 UTCIs just me or was there a weird/wrong translation when Law responded to Smoker "what are you all doing?" I don't want to clarify as the translation I remember would change this scene a large amount. I love Law's line to Tashigi when he tells her "The weak can't even decide how the get to die." I have issues with Tashigi as even though she is strong compared to most people she almost always bats above her league when fighting. Then Tashigi demand's to be treated equal to those way above her. In the same vein as Jaya, it leaves a bad taste to fight those not worth fighting. It seems to me that it would leave a bad taste to end Tashigi in such a circumstance. You don't shoot a man in the back, and you don't fight someone who can't fight back.

I was confused too the first time I saw it as they show heart-shaped floaty things during the swaps, but it's souls (or personalities) that get swapped. Also, Law's DF is the Op-Op fruit (where he can operate like a surgeon within the "room" he creates). We saw that even when he cuts people up, they don't die. So even if Smoker has no heart right now, if he gets it back, he can still put it back in place, just like Tashigi put her torso back on her legs. Such a freaky power! But so so cool! Jason...Law's tattoos are super cool...just saying...😜👍
