The animation on this show is top notch! I have never seen anything more visually stunning than this! Apparently it's a mix of 2D and 3D. I don't know anything about animation but if I understood well, the whole show was in 2D (so completely hand drawn) except for the characters and what they interacted with. However, the 2D was then placed in a 3D environment which gave it depth and allowed for all the camera movements. That's why the backgrounds look like paintings, it's because they are! Also, even the 3D elements were made using 2D textures so that's why they look painted. Extraordinary!

I love the character designs and the cultural representations, and that list is as follows: Sapient, Sentient, Non-Sentient, Alternative Universe Only, and Other . I say this because you have the "Yordles" (Heimerdinger), and the bat/animal featured characters I believe they're called Vastaya/ Vastayashai'rei†. Having human characteristics with animal features, and there are many more. 2. I love Mel, Ekko, and soon to be more characters of melanin, becuase it feels good to see characters with such vigor, and not in the usually side character tropes. 3. With that being said I love hearing your thoughts about mel, and without giving spoilers. Mel Madarda is from the nation of NOXUS, and lets say you'd rather have her as an ally than most inhabitants from those lands. Adding she's more like a mentor to Jayce than the puppeteer. Like how both of you said he's not thinking clearly because distractions, and his own ego. 4. Mel gave Jayce the push he needed and now everything thats being done is of his own inertia. We saw that with his converstation with Viktor whos supposed to be like a brother, and forgetting he's also from the under city. 5. Jay you're right and wrong at the same time, so Ekko is brillant and instead of word vomit think of him as a tactiacian, and or master chess player. No he doesn't control time, but his prowess in pattern recognition is above normal standards. Thank you H&J for watching this show and it only gets better.

But it was a beautiful scene showing how they played as kids with the colours, the cool music and the laughter. Beautiful and sad how this changed when they came back to that moment where they wanted to arm each other. “How did we got here?’” Is what I think they must have thought when both looked at each other
