Ok, so...imagine if The X-Files went off the rails and decided to throw in teenage hormones, psychic powers, and absurd comedy. That's Dandadan. It's about a girl who's obsessed with ghosts, a guy who's obsessed with aliens, and both of them are completely wrong about what’s actually terrifying. Throw in bananas obsessed aliens, a granny who's cooler than the protagonists, and more chaotic energy than a squirrel on energy drinks, and you've got yourself a show that makes zero sense — It’s like a fever dream or an unhinged, trippy hallucination — but in the best possible way.
