I started watching OP in English and only started sub where the dub stopped at the time, so to me the English dub has a special place in my heart. But I must admit that after watching it in Japanese for so long, it feels weird when I hear the English voices now. I still like it but I prefer the original voices.

I think this is the first time in all of one piece that this has happened. I’m so excited because I watched the entirety of one piece in English dub and in September when the dub episodes ended I was very upset. It’s one of main reasons I picked up the manga. I know the one piece English dub is very disliked among the one piece community but I love it. I also love luffy’s dub voice. He sounds exactly what I think he would sound like if he spoke English.
