Great reaction guys! These episodes are amazing! Frieren the slayer!! She’s such a bad ass!!! Also Fern, she’s becoming such a strong character! These episodes definitely highlighted how great Frieren Magic skills are, and how Fern is learning everything from Frieren and what she was taught by Flamme. The storytelling is really good! But I think the action and animation in this anime gets overlooked, these fight scenes are incredible! I’m definitely loving Frieren, it’s a pleasure watching alongside with you Jason and Heather. Can’t wait for more! Much love guys!

2025-05-21 04:47:57 +0000 UTC1.) Frieren's earrings that she wears. Those were her master's earrings. 2.) When Flamme taught Frieren to suppress her mana Frieren told her that it was tiring. Remember how Frieren has trouble waking up? And how both her and Fern tend to fall asleep so easily? That was the reason why. They both are constantly suppressing their mana. Though I believe Fern learned it from Heiter when she was little. Which explains Frieren's comment in episode one about Fern being hard to detect. Also, watching you both get hyped up about this arc really made my day. It made me realize why I like watching anime and why I like watching people react to anime. It was so fun watching you guys enjoy this arc. P.S. If you want a little more mature/grown up anime I got an anime movie for you. It's called "Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade". It's a 90's anime that is based on an alternate historical timeline where Japan sided with the Allies during WW2 but Germany still won the war and occupied Japan instead of the US. Germany eventually deradicalizes and becomes a Weimer style republic but Japan remains influenced by Germany's post WW2 occupation. It's a slow burn of a story that demands your attention but it's well worth it. The story itself asks a simple question and it is, "Can a wolf become human?". The viewing options currently are either bluray or you can visit IMdB and click on the suggested streaming option where it directs you to a site called TobiTV. Do a search for "Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade" on that site and you can watch for free. They have the 720p version (good enough IMHO) and both the sub and dub versions. However, IMHO, the sub is the way to go with this anime movie . If you end up liking that one I could recommend another anime that is directed by the same guy (Masamune Shirow) who wrote the script for "Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade" and also the directed/wrote the anime "Ghost In A Shell".

I expected your reactions to these three episodes to be epic, but seeing how blown away you were by the story was so fun to watch. I’m so happy it’s become one of your favorites—and yes, we definitely gotta get y’all some Frieren merch ASAP! The way this show has connected with you guys is honestly the beauty of anime. We know One Piece is your number one, but it’s wild how another series can come out of nowhere and hit your heart just as deeply. That’s the magic of anime—you never know which one will sneak in and stay with you. And we know when you guys say this anime is one of my favorites or this anime character is my favorite, it’s not about replacing the love you have for One Piece, but adding a whole new kind of love that only Frieren could bring. That’s what makes being an anime fan so special. Tuesdays are my favorite day of the week because I get to watch frieren with you guys ❤️ For the YouTube recommendations there’s so many to choose from for episode 10. You guys had so many great reactions throughout these episodes

That's why I was laughing out loud when you said that she was definitely going back to help them. 😂 And Jason, I'm with you on DanDaDan, at our age (intended as experience and maturity, not because we are old, mind you!!!😂) it's ok for a laugh but not more than that. There's still many amazing anime you must watch and you will be pros in no time!

I’ve seen these episodes like fifteen times, and I still get chills!! Jason, you caught that Himmel said the same thing Frieren said (“just a feeling”). Such good storytelling There are 28 episodes in season 1! So 18 more! (Also we know Frieren is at least 1000 years old from previous episodes stating Flamme, her mentor, lived over a thousand years ago)
