Oda is setting up an immense amount of future things besides the immediate plot or characters you've focused on. Even now I'm passing episode 1,017 of the English dub and it's still my favorite story I've come across in maybe 10 years or more.

"Anegi", translates as Big Sis, like above, but refers to female. "Nani?", What?
