Luffy & Naruto represent the protagonists of their anime era of idealism, whereas Eren represents a modern anime era of realistically flawed protagonists who face character developments that don’t always steer them to become better people. It works for Eren’s story, but it can be aggravating for some people to watch. Back when there was only 1 season of AOT, I would’ve grouped myself as someone who didn’t care for Eren’s whining. I needed more seasons released for me to see it as a defining characteristic of his immaturity & a driving factor in his decision making. In all honesty, Eren’s character motivations can’t be fully comprehensible until you reach the big reveals at AOT’s conclusion.

It's about 3 homeless who find a baby in the garbage on Christmas Eve then try to find the parents, that movie is a Christmas movie essential in my opinion, I always watch around Christmas time.

And if you have watched most of those already, there are few other anime movies that are amazing like Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast, A Silent Voice, Your Name... I'm sure others could list even more. haha

For the holidays so you can keep it light, perhaps you could react to some Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli films like Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke. That way you don't need to commit to another series and overwhelm yourselves.
