The translators they use aren't familiar with english slang and stuff like that and often translate too literally or it ends up sounding weird compared to what is actually being said

2024-01-12 22:31:08 +0000 UTCI'm a fan of the Mr. 2 fight and Mr. 2 in general(he's just so much fun to watch), these match ups for the Alabasta fights are so dope! Mr. 1's partner is Miss DoubleFinger continuing the motif of each TOP female Officer Agent being named after a holiday, Double Finger refers to New Years Day/January 1st(1/1) as in holding up both index fingers, it's a nice detail since her partner is number 1. It should also be noted Mr. 2 doesn't have a female partner because he is a man that is a woman at heart.
