2024-01-25 14:12:04 +0000 UTCI’d say to watch it in dub simply because keeping up with what’s written on screen might be difficult while you’re discussing scenes and you definitely don’t want to miss any dialogue for these first couple of episodes and in my humble opinion dub is much better lights voice ryuks and a couple others but nonetheless really excited for the reaction

I feel like this will be a nice change of pace compared to the other anime you have been watching as it's set in real world/Japan and not a fantasy world (minus the Shinigami lol). The whole dub vs sub, well most of us probably watched this as one of our first anime and it was on adult swim, so dub holds some nostalgia. Both are amazing, it's hard to say which is better, I like Ryuk and another character more in Dub, and Light sounds great in both... Whatever you decide on, it'll still be good!
