Romance in olden days had to do with stories about chivalrous knights, heroes, and adventure, it's why the first episode of the live action, the anime, and the manga are all called Romance Dawn. It's a beautiful and important word in one piece, even if it doesn't come up all the time.

2024-01-25 23:43:31 +0000 UTCEpisode 152 - when Merry flying up to the sky, with the song "We Are" playing in the background, was my favourite episode up to this point in time (of course there would be more and more favourites afterwards). But even more and more favourite episodes came after, no matter how many times I watched this, it still gave me chills!!!! Phenomenon!!! And the sky sea, cotton island, I was living in the child's dream, Heather has said what I was feeling then. I wished I could go out to the world for adventures like Luffy when I watched OP. Children, teenagers, and even adults should go outside more, like Luffy, too many nerds after iphone/internet era.

Maybe forgotten, but in EP 151, when Laffitte, one of Blackbeard's crew member, infiltrates the meeting between warlords and marines, he suggests Blackbeard to be the new warlord. That's why Blackbeard wants to collect Luffy's bounty because he needs something to prove to the world government that he is fearful enough to be a warlord as the successor of Crocodile.
