Sometimes you might feel like it's a bit slow until we start getting banger episodes or fights, but i feel that Oda has soo much lore that he wants to tell untill the fights start that he needs those episodes to make the climax soo much exciting. You need to know all that is in game for the arc to have the great finale that we all love. And about the "small fry's" that the subs say, i don't know the actuall meaning in japanese but in the dub in catalan, my home language, they transalte it as insects or mosquitos.

2024-02-06 18:24:50 +0000 UTCbtw as a kid i grew up watching martial arts yes ive seen all bruce lee movies, jackie chan, donnie yen, jet li even muay thai tony jaa, and i was so impressed by bruce lee cracking his knuckels that i can do it aswell just from watching i mastered it aswell (i dont recommend it though) and mostlikely luffy got inspired by it aswell. also get used to reading the word smallfry, you gonna see that word a lot in anime especially in those type of anime u r watching. btw the genre is called shounen which means boy that means the target audience are young boys to adults but mainly for guys. then there is the darker genre seinen dont know the translation but its more for adults usually means it covers darker topics shows more adult content and is more philosophical doesnt mean it has more action which is why most still prefer shounen. theb there is also shoujo the demographic is targeted towards girls so romantic anime. im telling you this becuz once you get deeper into anime you will come across the words shounen anime or shounen jump magazine, most shounen anime come from that magazine by shueisha called shounen jump, that magazine comes out every sunday and has 1 chapter per manga in there, i believe in 1 magazine u get to read 22 manga and from each there is one chapter. popular shounen manga are: one piece, death note, naruto, bleach, dragon ball, hunter x hunter, gintama etc.

2024-02-06 02:35:42 +0000 UTCThat Luffy vs Wyper fight was so tight! That little scuffle was impressive for both of them, Luffy hanging with THE leader of a warrior tribe and Wyper was able to hang with our main character and he's just a side guy.
