So disappointed that you had to skip just 1 episode and now you have a lot of questions as to where is Zoro's weapon and etc. Sometimes skipping could really messed up the context even if its 1 episode. :(

So when they finally stopped being hardheaded, worked together, it was more satisfying to get back up and kick the other teamโs butts. I understand skipping these kind of episodes, but it is part of the process/journey. โYou canโt skip to the good parts.โ Anyways, Luffy picking Shelly was the dumbest but nicest thing he did. Gotta love him!

The crew swapping complicates the storyline for six rounds, though, and I think they did a really poor job of writing around it. Of course they got chopper back immediately.

So, the first (boat competition), second (Zoro and Sanji ball game) and the last round are canon. The third (roller skate competition) and fourth round of games are filler.

"Chan" is to address others cutely, usually referring to someone younger, also not gender specific. Although Nami is younger than Sanji, he wants to show his respect to Nami so he calls Nami as Nami san. However, for Robin who is much older than Sanji, he addresses her as Robin chan because usually women want others to think they are young. This is how Sanji being considerate as a gentleman. This was confirmed by Oda in his SBS (Q&A session in manga volume). BTW, Sanji and Zoro are 19, Luffy and Usopp are 17, Nami is 18, Chopper is 15 and Robin is 28.

I am so hyped to get into episode 211 but you mixed it up and missed it. It is the most important episode in LRLL other than the last fight. Please watch it no matter if you will react to it or not. Canon is strictly from the source material; for OP thatโs the manga. Anime-canon is extra material written by the anime staff but approved/created by the author of the original source material; Oda. (That makes changes in the live-action technically canon since Oda took part.๐) Think of it using Game of Thrones & House of the Dragon franchise. GOT does use the source material, however, it also adds content not from the books but still created by George R.R. Martin (like canon & TV canon). Canon is officially a part of the universe. Jayton is a big Star Wars fan. And, boy, do Star Wars fans argue over what is canon between movies, shows, books, games, comics, etc. He has heated debates over it with my sister!๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ

The world of anime is pretty huge with a plethora of different genres you might enjoy. Plus there are horror genre, but I'm not really into it so can't recommend one for you.

If you like music anime with romance then watch, Your Lie in April, that anime really affected me when I was growing up then. There is, A Silent Voice anime about a boy who bullied a def girl. There is Scifi mystery anime called, Steins;Gate which is crazy but damn good. These are all rather old but I believe its what got anime so popular in the USA over the last couple decades IMO. Also a fairly recent good time travel anime called, The Town Where Only I am Missing is really good too. you don't have to react to these but they def are good to watch. Might help inspire you guys as film makers.

Watching them grow as Luffyโs left & right hands over the course of OP is great for their cast dynamic!๐๐ดโโ ๏ธ๐ Possibly resorting back to the original filler list & just skipping the red episodes will keep confusion at bay.

FYI canon is everything Oda approved of and part of the story that's not filler. On your quick list, the only thing you should skip are the filler episodes written in red and watch everything else.
