I totally get what you mean about taking this show slower because it is heavy, but at the same time you run the risk of forgetting important details when you space it out too much. It’s hard to find that balance, since so many things from earlier episodes randomly come back into play as we go along. Everything is important. And I think the reason these episodes feel slow to us is because we know how much crazier it gets from here on out. So the first half of the season seems to drag but then BOOM!

2024-04-25 02:35:00 +0000 UTCDuring the flashback on the snowy mountain, (you missed it) there was a flash of yellow lightning.😉 Ymir turned into a titan & carried Dax down the mountain. Also, Reiner & Bertholt saw Ymir when they were kids (they already showed the flashback of their friend being eaten by a titan, which is now revealed to be Ymir). Which brings up the question… how did Ymir meet & eat Reiner’s friend? Hmm…… so many questions. Truly a show that answers questions with more questions!! 😂

2024-03-29 00:53:11 +0000 UTCah i love both aot and one piece. aot was one of my first anime in this genre so it's definitely very impactful and the writing is just superb, i watched op after (and am still watching lol) and fell in love with both for different reasons. not sure if you caught it but ymir transformed to get daz off the cliff which is why she pushed historia, and she didn't tell her the secret then either. last ep ymir mentions the promise made on that snowy mountain before she turns and this ep starts with explaining what lead to that promise. this show can be very philosophical and explore what drives these characters living in such a cruel reality and each one is different and beautiful. ymir's lesson to historia is one of my favs, not to cower in the face of oppression to but to live your life to prove everyone wrong, both are forced to keep their identities a secret and in the span of 2 episodes both reveal their identities and are proud of each other for it.

2024-03-27 20:31:24 +0000 UTCMy first watch this is around the time, here through the rest of s2, I got really hooked. Season 3 is my favorite, so so good. Not someone who gets emotional easily but the remainder of this show will have you in your feelings (and not just sad feelings lol)!
