One Piece eps. 323/324 | Usopp is BAAACK!!!

Comments

The mayor that was shown is the one from Luffys hometown not the one we met at orange town!

PeleThePirate

I don't mind your pronunciations! When Jason called Kureha "Korea" I laughed so hard. Just like when Heather mistook the shandians for "shanadians" Yall are hilarious and we all did the same stuff on our first watch throughs.

Derek Cook

Lol yeah nothing happened 😅

AnimeTeeJay

If you go all the way back to Nami's Arc, in her backstory, their is a part were Bellemere is giving Hand me down shirts to Nami. One Of those shirts has a lion sunflower, and the figure head of the Thousand Sunny is said to be a Lion Sunflower. Just Crazy.

Cheddah Slammer

Eichero GOATahhhh

Voltakackackack

My purpose for this is Marshall D. Teach. He comes off as a nice dude "dreams have no end" what a great sentiment, and yet he is quite possibly the end all be all villain.

Voltakackackack

Catch me if I'm wrong, but you're probably like me, annoyed Zoro is still Zolo in the official manga translation?

Voltakackackack

I know は気 is more like "hah key" than "hock é" just a joke my dude. I've been studying Japanese for years and I'm still not very proficient though lol.

Voltakackackack

its not pronounced hockey.

Kenji

The Going Merry is also our ship. Always and forever

Regie Khemvisay

Ooohh love to see it! My son wants a 3D printer for Christmas. I now have an excuse to make OP related stuff using a 3D printer

Regie Khemvisay

get ready and buckle up mean the same thing 👍

SomeoneElse

I didn't even realize that was why they were saying they couldn't hear anything until jut this year. So, I had always been confused by that scene.

Fold

Top tier moment for zoro…sometimes you need that Stern leadership and that is one area luffy struggles with and having a first mate like zoro is a perfect match!

Bryan

Everyone gets so emotional over Ussop leaving the crew many forget that he has betrayed them, he stabbed them in the back and left. I love Zoro for this scene he reminds they are more than just a group of friends. Each of their ambitions are great and such behavior is not worthy of such goals. I also think that until this point it was Captain Ussop traveling with Straw hats rather than the just the Straw hats. Ussop had to stop looking down on Luffy and truly accept him as a captain. I do believe That Ussop treated Luffy as a child he had to explain the simplest things to. Regardless of whether he meant to or not, I think Ussop did not take Luffy seriously as a Captain and believed he could convince Luffy to do what he wanted to a certain extent. Most probably won't agree with but I don't think Ussop was ready to truly serve a Captain until now.

OP7 is opening theme 7. ED is ending theme. These are Anime Abbreviations. “it’s not gonna be easy to get to Fishman Island.” So on point. Also the ZORO scene is sooo important. We’ve always known how loyal he is to Luffy, going on an adventure with him in that tiny boat..so when one member challenged their captain n disrespected him, he had to make sure everyone else understands the gravity of that.. he better apologize or he’s not coming back to the crew. Then Sanji agreeing with ZORO and Luffy understanding the situation and what ZORO was saying are great character development. Water 7 arc is one of the top contenders for best arc because so much development happened and their bond got stronger. It’s the arc that we are not just saving a country, but we’re saving a nakama. The stakes are just higher and a mission we could never fail. Water 7 ARC is just *Chefs kiss*

Regie Khemvisay

I believe Zorro drawing the line with Luffy and Ussop humbling himself and apologizing is massive growth among the strawhats in their own ways, and they still have much more to go. I can't wait for you guys to see their growth from where they currently are.

Nesz Vids (Eric Perez)

And it's probably just a new to anime thing it means their not listening to the words and reading the subs at the same time it takes a bit of time to learn that but it's also just them not abandoning their understanding of letter sounds to relearn.

erueka6

Yohohoho I'd laugh, but I don't have lungs.

Voltakackackack

I used to play Ice Haki until I tore my ACL.

Voltakackackack

I'll never be first because nice guys finish last. Also never mistake a nice guy for a good guy, nice and good are not the same thing just some random wisdom.

Voltakackackack

Such a good conclusion...next episode get ready to buckle up

RydaAnime

Welcome Franky and Thousand Sunny!! I will show you guys my scale model of the Sunny on Discord at some point!

Lucia Petrozzi

I couldn't have said it better!

Lucia Petrozzi

Water 7, Enies Lobby and Post Enies Lobby...for a lot of people these are their favorite arc(s) BUT for me, the next NEXT Arc after Post Enies Lobby is my personal favorite! Saboady!!! pronounced "Sha bon dee" or "Sah-bah-oh-dee" but I say it like "Sah-bo-dee" for fun like Bodie from The Wire(tv show).

Freshingredient

Welcome to the Thousand Sunnny you guys. A special ship for a special crew! And who better to fix her than the man whooo built her?

Dylan Drozeski

Please don't take the pronunciation help wrong. It's because I hate seeing people struggle and want to help

Adam V.

Why fo u say that? Because nothing happens? 😜

Eric Quan

Yeah, the Thousand Sunny is here!! This is our ship… Merry was our first, our little one, and will always make you feel nostalgic…but when asked what’s the name of the ship of the Straw Hats pirates, the answer is the Sunny, always and forever. The Sunny is our home

BashaM

I just love the Water 7/Ennies Lobby saga, and I'm glad we can finally talk about it with you. It gaves so much shine to all the straw hats, but I'd like to highlight how badass Sanji was in these arcs.

Arthur Lima

usopp kept screaming and they all heard him but pretended to not hear anything since zoro said if the first thing usopp doesnt say im sorry i apologize and admit i was in the wrong and beg for forgiveness and that i wanna join back its basically over. usopps first words werent what they wanted to hear so they pretended to not hear him until he admitted thats when they started to "hear" usopp. so they kinda cheated becuz they all wanted usopp back i loved that moment. its like when u have an exam and the teacher doesnt want you to fail but also wont give you the right answer just gave u the sign that u r on the wrong path and that helps you to choose the right path without him telling u whats right.

Kenji

This is another great lesson that I learned from this show: "Love your friends with all your heart, but never take them for granted". I'm so happy to see how much you're enjoying the show, and how you just want to share it with all the people you know. For the longest time I didn't have anyone with whom to bounce ideas about One Piece, so that's why I love all the comments that our nakamas make and learning how there's even more layers to this show than the ones I can see just by myself. Regarding vocabulary/pronunciation, take it from a bilingual person struggling to learn a 3rd language, there's no need to apologise when you misspronounce things, learning is a process of a life-time and there's nothing wrong with little mistakes along the way, you have become great at catching some words here and there and you will eventually have a wide vocabulary to understand even more and will even predict some dialogs. Looking forward to next arc... even though nothing happens. :)

Potzi

I want to see what they think about it if no one gives them even the slightest spoiler. Definitely an interesting arc, and I know those 2 words will come up in these comments eventually lol. It's like the only guaranteed spoiler that's almost required for this arc that people who are catching up just have to accept until they get to that part 😅. But I guess it's debatable if you can even consider it a spoiler

AnimeTeeJay

So happy for you both to be on this journey. You're catching up so fast and before you know it, you'll be watching weekly with the rest of us. And I agree with you jason that more people need to watch one piece. I have a friend that hates on one piece with all his might, and then he saw the live action and since then he no longer spews hate about it but he's still hesitant to dive into the anime because of the sheer length of the show. I think eventually the live action will convince him to take a chance on the anime, so maybe if you want to get people into one piece, especially older audiences, maybe tell them to watch the live action first then more than likely they'll want to continue the journey. So you could help them pick up where they leave off on the live action. I feel like by the time the live action gets to water 7, no one who's curious will be able to resist the anime lol

AnimeTeeJay

Usopp rejoining the crew is such a great moment of growth for him. During the battles in Enies Lobby, he learned to have confidence. But this is where he learned responsibility. He obviously wanted to rejoin, but all that time spent coming up with those scenarios was him trying to avoid the responsibility he bore for his duel with Luffy. Yes, they both said stupid things they regretted. But in the end, Usopp's the one who left, and the one who challenged Luffy to the duel. Zoro was 100% right about how Usopp needed to apologize. However, I absolutely love a specific moment during the scene where Usopp is trying to convince them to come back. During Zoro's speech to the crew, he said "If the first thing out of his mouth is a sincere apology, then we're good". Obviously, Usopp tried to play the whole thing off as a joke or a misunderstanding, in an attempt to keep his dignity. Then when Chopper was trying to get the others to acknowledge Usopp, they said they couldn't hear anything. As soon as Usopp apologized, they all could suddenly hear him perfectly. It was such a tiny detail I didn't catch it on my first watchthrough. It was Zoro's way of sticking to his words, but also giving Usopp the chance to do the right thing. Some people might think he was heartless for how he handled that, but honestly, I think Zoro was just as worried about Usopp as the others.

Molto_Benny

Don't think the pronunciation reminders are a criticism. I think the reason people mention it is so you can pick up the words easier when characters in the show say it and will help with information retention.

ic1025

just 1 episode left to finish the arc lol

Leandrorr

That town with mayor is not Buggy town hhh Its Luffy's hometown Fushi village

Ming GAO

I love the detail of Zoro shivering a little bit in frustration when Luffy says hes been waiting for Usopp "all this time", because Luffy still does not know Sogeking is Usopp. So in Luffy's eyes, he hasn't seen Usopp since their duel. Zoro exhibiting great leadership after being so harsh on Usopp the scene prior, he still is willing to preserve this secret from his captain. Zoro really is Oda's insert of a perfect Buddhist mentality.

Jake Belcastro

Its filler up to 337, next arc is a weird one but definitely has some epic moments and some great story telling within all the fluff of it.

KevUrb

There are mixed feelings about Thriller bar, the next arc, but I hope you still enjoy it

Eric Quan

Not me speeding back from my delivery to watch this 4 parter 😂

Dylan Drozeski

thanks T
