Writers are playing well with viewers like me who don't know the story, offering one scene for each character which can make us suspect that they are the Dragon Reborn. Egwene who is discovering that she has the Power. Rand who is making that nightmare and saw the Dark One (even if they all did it). Matty who woke up because an old and beautiful knife called him. Perrin who met wolves and one licked his wound. Everything is alright, really.
No, without kidding, it's really bad. This army is terrifying, and they are fast, they can follow them (how ? still something I don't understand, how did they know where to find them at first, and now ?). And this town was bad also. Things during this episode made me think of Lord of the Rings, like the parallel between the Shire and Two Rivers during the first one : the Nazgûl and the Fade, the "crossing the river" scenes to escape from them/it etc. I don't think that it's made like it in the books, but clearly the homage on screen is obvious.
