DRAWING WEEK 49 - AVATAR : THE LAST AIRBENDER

I know, I finished Avatar : The Last Airbender a long time ago now. But do you really think that each time that we have a bison on screen during The Legend Of Korra, I'm not thinking about Appa in fact ? Like, Oogi, my dear, I'm sorry, but even right there, I had to google your name because I was not sure of how to write it. You seem nice, but Appa is the only thing that I see when I watch you. And when one character is saying "Yip yip", it's Aang saying it to Appa for me, always.
Remember how I was during the episode with Appa, when we discovered how much they mistreated him ? I never thought that the writers could do that and it was heartbroken when they did. But at the same time, it made Appa one of the main characters of the show, and I began to be really scared to lose him at some point, that they could do worst to him. But they didn't, and they preferred to offer us that wonderful episode with Aang hallucinating Appa fighting with Momo. Thanks, writers, for that.

I end up rewatching the series at least once a year and I always tend to skip the Appa's Lost Days episode because it's so brutal. Watching the whole episode just once in my lifetime is more than enough for me.
