Hello !
So, you know that I have an open mind and that I'm okay to change my opinion about stuff, but here, really, WHO could have thought that I would change my mind about Varrick, Zhu Li, and the relationship between Varrick and Zhu Li ? The first one has a conscience now, the second one is loyal to him because she admires (LOVEEEES ?) him, and it took me 2min in review to ship them. Like, truly, I even put the subtitles so you can see the evolution of my thoughts. So much that I don't think that she switched at the end.
Kuvira… Like always with Korra's enemies, I can see that their ideas, at the beginning, were good ones. Kuvira wanted the Earth Kingdom to be rebuilt by someone who could bring good stuff to it. But she's manipulating, threatening, and she has reeducation camps ? COME ON. The Earth Kingdom already had to live that.

Hello ! I never hated Varrick, but I always considered we couldn't trust him. Here, seeing him helping us and trying to do the good thing (having suddenly a conscience), it helps me to see him as an ally. For Zhu Li, I always was on her side, I wanted her to be free ! To know now why she stayed so long, it helps 🙈

I honestly can't really remember how I felt about him at this point, but I think I was a little more trusting, especially because of his (small) role in S3. Regarding Zhu Li, it takes some great writing to advance a very minor character to the forefront in just one episode, and have the entire audience completely on her side and loving her - and they absolutely nail that with Zhu Li! It's easy to forget how much of a small role she has before this part of the show.

She would’ve always tried to use force to fix her problems before this season. This is a big change for her 🥳🥳 Ah, forgot to say, based on your review, the rest of this season is gonna be really fun to watch 😉
