Levi, coming like that from nowhere at the end of an episode to save the situation, it's gonna become one of my passions. No matter what, thank you Levi, without you, Mikasa would have tried again to kill that Female Titan and maybe she would have been killed doing that. But you know, I know, Eren is not dead, we're not gonna fall into that trap again. And that was never her intention : she was not fighting, she was trying to avoid the fight, she wanted to run away even, but her mission was to capture Eren (and not to kill him).
I was so shocked by the deaths of these three soldiers that I didn't cry at all. They made me think so much that they were good enough, clever because they destroyed her eyes first, then her arms, and they were doing that so fast… I was totally shocked. The fact that Levi saw that and didn't react… I know, and I LOVE how he is with his men, so I can't believe it didn't hurt him at all.

Haha Azula in Attack on Titan, it would be so fun 😂 Yes, I loved this episode, even if it was so shocking to see Levi's squad dying. And even more with his reactions. But now that I progressed into the show, and discovered also his ova, it made a lot more sense but this scene is even harder to watch. Him coming back to his friends and discovering them dead, and how he chose to react here.

2021-12-29 07:53:59 +0000 UTCThis episode was a reminder that they can kill *anyone*. I felt really bad for the Levi squad. The show did a really good job of making you believe in them then just showing you that it doesn't matter how strong you are, there's always going to be someone stronger. No on is safe. I think that the fact Levi stopped at Petra is so indicative of his strong emotions for her in particular. I like that his emotions are really understated; they don't need to make him cry out hard to communicate the depth of his pain or concern, they're able to say that with just a look, a few words, and his non-verbals. Since he's so cold most of the time, times like stopping and standing over Petra's corpse can speak volumes to his pain. Also, the female titan wasn't fighting back at first because her other eye and both her arms weren't fully healed yet, so she was at a massive disadvantage against Eren's berserker style of fighting. Can't wait to watch your reaction when you get to find out who's in there. It's Azula. I mean, could it be anyone else, really? :)))
