For the first half of this season B, I had the impression that writers are respecting a certain rhythm : one episode with a death and a lot of big events, one episode being a break so the viewers can breathe again etc. And this episode was a break moment : for the Rus' arc, we had discussions but no actions ; for Kattegat arc, we had the coronation of Harald but we knew it was gonna happen, and discussions with his propositions to Gunnhild, Ingrid and Erik (death of Skane also, but we know the guy since one episode so…) ; only Ubbe's arc seems important.
He found a land, which is finally not the golden one. I was really annoyed by this story here because I already hated the beginning of Iceland, it was painful to watch, so I had the impression it was the same here. You can't find ressources, food and all here, there is no sun, and humans are fighting again with each other because of their faiths and the few things that others can have. NO.
