Hello !
Before writing anything : I saw during the editing that I was naming Mando's hostage "baby Yoda" but I didn't explain that I understood that he was not Yoda (because of the chronology and all). It was just how I named him during all of this time so I kept that name. This episode confirmed me that it's a good entertaining show, respecting well this universe, that Mando and his relationship with baby Yoda is gonna be at the center of it, at least for the first season. That he might be more sentimental than he seemed.
And also that the rhythm of the episode is really fast, which is logical or such short episodes in a short season. No time out. But at the same time, stories/characters created just for one/two episodes, which is rare now : people are so used to bingewatch a season, to episodes dropped all in once, to have one big story.

In my opinion Mandalorian does not anything right and it have its flaws (like sometimes very overboarding fanserivce or the shameless self advertising at some points) but one have to admit that it showed all those SJW and Corporate conform film makers in Hollywood that you can create quality entertainment without overloading it with identity politics or corporate lippserice and it can still work and be accepted and that you aint need 180 minutes or a totaly bloated budget to do so (An art that got lost over the years given all the big but empty movies an series in the last years) . Sometimes bigger aint the better and Favreau and Feloni understand that and for this we should thank them even more than for saving Star Wars alone. Now we just have to hope that Disney and Hollywood get the message and wont forget it again after some weeks.
