I heard that some fans didn't like this episode and I can understand why because the story can seem annoying. I chose to see the symbolics of some actions here : the Avatar is not only there to fight, to have great powers, but also to unite people (Katara said something about it). Maybe against the Fire Lord ? United, they can win ?
Even issues between humans can seem impossible to resolve, to win against a common enemy, you need to be unitedโฆ THE CANYON CRAWLERS WERE SYMBOLISING THE FIRE NATION, OKAY ?

So sorry, but you know me, I don't have little emotions so when I'm frustrated by something, I'm not just "frustrated", I'm imagining 4 different scenarios with one to punch the guilty, one to punch whoever is gonna annoy me next, one to punch myself and one to isolate myself for life in a cave ๐
