Hello !
I hate Ba Sing Se. Less than Azula, let's be honest and clear and because of the fact that I think that we can help this city, resolve this situation, when I don't see any way for Azula to change. Everything in Ba Sing Se is against my vision of what a society should be and treat the citizens, by separating them because of financial/ideologic/origin reasons, censuring those who are telling the truth, with a milice which is organizing the repression and the surveillance.
It's even more frustrating because we're here in the capital of the Earth Kingdom, the good guys. So we would expect them to rule well, not to be a dictator like their ennemies, the Fire Nation.

Hello ! I was so disappointed to discover how it was. It's the capital of Earth Kingdom so I imagined it a little like Omashu for the appearance and a lot like "the capital of the good guys" for what it was. It's painful to see that no, the "good guys" of this war are not so good, considering that they're doing the same than the "bad guys", with their own little dictature.

2021-05-08 06:01:09 +0000 UTCI love this episode. Almost since the beginning of the show Ba Sing Se has been built up as a wonderful city, the last great hope in the fight against the Fire Nation. They have been hyping this place and making us anxious to see it. And it turns out the place is a damned nightmare. A small elite city surrounded by the worst slums in the world and all of it run by an evil dictator.
