DRAWING WEEK 21 - SHADOW AND BONE

I draw some characters of Shadow and Bone, and I wanted to post Inej first. I don't know why but I have already a special connexion with this character. I love a lot of them, but she's really the one with who I feel a special link. Like when she killed that guy, I knew how much it was bad for her, even if I don't know the story behind that, why it's so bad. But the actress is so good that I felt all of her distress, and I was scared that it could have a big impact on her.
Maybe I love her also so much because she's the kind of woman in shows/movies that I love : yes, she's a fucking badass, she has skills in combats and can defend herself with hands and words ; but she has also feelings, emotions, she's not afraid of showing them, asking for help. That's a mix that some writers don't manage to do with female characters, for a lot of them it's the first or the second thing, but they can't be both. Here, no, Inej is all of that.
