I can't forget and forgive what Sang-Woo did to people, he went way too far, but he followed the same thing since the beginning of the game : to win, to have the money. He knew one had to have it and he wanted to be that one. He didn't win honestly but at least, he lost honestly. I was clearly mad that Gi-Hun didn't keep his promises during that first year, it broke my heart.
But that discussion with Grandpa was necessary for him to understand things and also for the writers to conclude the message of their show. All along the season, they criticized our societies, people doing anything for money or because of it, but at the end, when Grandpa asked if there is still good in this world, we have the drunk guy being saved because of how our societies are functioning and Sang-Woo's mother being nothing but nice and generous. That end surprised me : how can you destroy this organization when they know everything about you and are still following you ? Clearly, you need to change your color of hair again if you want to hide.

Hello again ! They prepared a season 2 with this end, Gi-Hun who wants to have his revenge, Jun-Ho who is surely not dead (shot in the shoulder, his brother reaction etc), the VIPs talking about games in other countries etc. To be interesting and please the fans, they will need to have a part with new games (it's what we loved, that stress, these characters and the reasons why they are fighting etc) and a part with people outside fighting to destroy the thing, why not in another country.

I would have never seen it coming. :))) I'm actually wondering if grandpa was the one who put the drunk homeless man on the street. Right? Like, if there wasn't that "random" hobo there, then what was the plan? Looking forward to season 2 and the inevitable return of Jun-Ho. He's not dead. He just can't be. I'm not a fan of Gi-Hun's red hair though. I hope they change it. O_o
