I believe some religions see left-handedness as being evil, I heard some harsh stories about how nuns forced left-handed people to learn to be right-handed.

if you want a modern art style sports anime that's as hyped as this one with lots of character development, "Ace of Diamond" is the one <3

Oh this reminds me that left handed people are mostly considered as not normal in Asian countries and in Japan in particular. I am Asian but I was born in France. The French word for left handed is "gaucher". And being "gauche" is being clumsy... In Japan, people consider that you have to correct a left handed to be right handed, as it is normal to do things with the right hand, like the majority. It is now less popular but it remains in some conservative families.

When I was little I had to learn how to use my right hand, because i was left handed and the norm of the elementary school I was going to was to be right handed. I believe it has to do with how they were learning me to write on the paper, it's that you write from left to right and the letters are a bit inclined to the right side, so it's just more comfortable with right hand. Even now there are some things that I still do with my left hand, like locking up a door or opening a bottle, but mostly I use my right hand.

Episode 6 at 11:39 (sorry I know you hate having to go find things to know what comments are about) but at that part Tsuki deliberately delayed his jump so that the person jumping to block it would be falling and too low to block his spike. An epic moment! Tsuki is not the kind of character I would normally like but his redemption in this show from being a bit of a prick to now was just so damn good

definitely a wrong translation about that referee overrule. translation said the ball hit the line, when it was indeed out but touched by tsukki. You would think the ref signal would indicate what the call was..

Several technical explanations ;)
- The time difference spike is a technique to delay your jump when attacking, making the opponent jump too soon. Tsukishima jump later, by "sitting" longer. The setter shall be sync to toss at the right moment.
- When Tsukishima had his finger bleeding, it was fully hit by Ushijima spike. It was tearing up from his other fingers. Also, I think there was a mistake in the translation. The referee's gesture shows that the ball was slightly touched by the defense finger. Even if it was out, this is again the last player touching the ball that counts. That is why it was overruled.

“Individuals vs Numbers” refers to each teams concept. Shiratorizawa focuses on building the individual strength of each team member, while Karasuno focuses on the teamwork between each player. That’s why Shiratorizawa’s coach said that this is a battle between concepts.
