Episode 369 has just risen so many questions. I loved your review for it. And yeah amazing Brook entrance.

I guess I’d say I’m not that a big fan of how it came about, but Nightmare Luffy does sound cool and I’m pretty excited to see more 😋

For me I like when side characters look normal, but still detailed. At least somewhat, you know? Otherwise they’re NAMI beautiful or Lola ugly and I think characters can be in between too. It’s not that I didn’t like her or the others because they’re ugly. It’s just that they look so slapdash (like as if they were just roughly drawn/thrown together). It’s understandable in a show with as many characters as one piece, I just want to make it more clear that I didn’t not like them because they’re “ugly” :)

I'm personally a fan of Lola and the Risky Brothers' designs. I like when not every character is pretty/handsome/etc. -- especially women with unconventional designs are somewhat rare in this series. It also enforces to us not to write off a character because they're strange or ugly looking. This is a principle I fancy applying in real life too ^_^ Also, hooray that we've made it to Kuma's involvement! One of my favorite characters, right up there with Brook.

Uhm... I actually did bring that up in the video. That Lafitte went to the meeting back in that episode... So... Idk I would consider this a little fansplainy since I didn't ask and even if I did forget that, I AM reading the manga, so I'd prefer to see things again by myself during my readthrough. Thanks

Nice reaction. About Blackbeard becoming a Shichibukai it has been foreshadowed since episode 151 when he had sent Lafitte(one of his crew) to the Shichibukai meeting(where we first saw Kuma and Doflamingo) to nominate Blackbeard for the open spot. That's why he went after Luffy in Jaya when he found out he had a 100M bounty. He said he was looking for a man worth 100M or more to prove his strength to the Goverment since he was an unknown. I don't know if this is considered fansplaining. Hopefully not 😅

Kuma carries a "bible" but I don't think it's THE Bible, I think it's the definition that just means "authoritative text" on some topic.

Thousands of peoples, that live all around the world, that met Moria years ago, (even marines as we can see with the swordman's shadow) live with fear of the sun, I consider it evil, also to steal corpses of heroes or members of family could be the most evil thing to do for many cultures. Perona, she's here just for fun as she said xD. What I like about his crew is how lazy they all are in their ways, as if Moria made them waste their abilities by being himself (Absalom don't even train to be stronger, it seem he just wait for hogback to give him a more powerfull corpse for example) I prefer that thematic character building over the priests on Shandias, their thematic is just ways to use Dials and cloud, other things are pretty randoms about them and they always annoyed me as villains.

Just watched 369 and was wondering what it is about moria that you consider evil? I can definitely see how absalom and hogback are evil, but ive always found it interesting how perona and moria to me aren't particularly evil antagonists for such an "evil" themed arc
