to put it simply. If the ball drop on your court you lose. If it drop out side of the court then last team touch it lose.

2019-11-29 00:53:44 +0000 UTCTo explain the rule, when a spiker hits an opponent and the ball goes out, it is a point for the spiker's team. Because, this is the last person who touches the ball who needs to keep it in the limit of the court, no matter what. This is why spikers try sometimes to hit the block to make it go off the court. Also, you only have 3 touches before getting the ball on the other side. But there is an extra touch when the block slows down a spike. In Japan, this is called a one-touch.
