Actually, I agree with that, the order issue just came from Fate 2006 haters who want it to be skipped. In fact, release order, starting with 2006 and following game order or starting with Zero are valid. But as somepeople tend to hate 2006, they made this more complex

2025-07-03 02:36:54 +0000 UTCI know you didn't ask for opinions, and I understand that this series is just a whole nonstop spam of "i think its better in this order", "but the vn goes in this order", but once you start here you might as well go here instead". In my personal opinion, I think release order for the anime is best overall, you really can't go wrong with it. There are a lot of moments where UBW assumes you've already seen Zero and/or Fate (2006), and where Zero assumes you've seen at least one of Fate/UBW/HF. IMO Heaven's Feel assumes you've seen all of it but a lot of people strongly disagree apparently. From your reasoning when you started, it makes sense that you went with UBW first, so at this point I think either going to Fate or Zero is your next best bet knowing your enjoyment preferences. I'll watch and support regardless of course and think HONESTLY that you will enjoy them no matter what you decide!

2025-07-03 01:23:00 +0000 UTCThere's so much detail that the Visual Novel has that I don't think you'd need to worry about the shows decreasing the VN's entertainment value for you. ------------- You're good to watch Fate/Zero next. Heaven's Feel would be good too. Either way is valid although I slightly prefer Fate/Zero first because I think it would improve Heaven's Feel's story for you. The Fate/Zero(2011) anime came first and the Heaven's Feel(2017) movies came after so I would think the studio expects you to have seen Fate/Zero first since the same studio did both. ------ I can give a non-spoilery and short pros and cons list if you're interested in an extra opinion
