I agree that the school system is indeed interesting. Its almost like an experiment that prepares you for every aspect of life in order for these students to be superior in every way. I guess that explains why this school has a 100% employment rate. Tbh I wish this kind of system existed in real life. Altho it is very cutthroat, it pretty much teaches you everything you need to know and actively pushes you to achieve. Its not about just succeeding in academics, but also social skills, physical strength, primal survival skills (which the island test emphasised) etc etc. Now this new test specifically seems to be focused on team work, social skills, negotiations, how you process your decision making, and how you would adapt from elements out of your control. Its pretty much why the quote of this first episode is about "keeping a cool head in distress" or something like that. I agree tho very strong first episode. As a LN reader, this did help explain things alot better imo. I guess I'm someone who needs a visual representation to understand it.
