In the spirit of holiday gift exchanges, my good friend, Dave Kellett, and I have decided to have an exchange of our own. Drive is a space opera that takes place in the year 2401. The comic tells the story of the second Spanish Empire — a galactic empire—and its war with a race called "The Continuum of Makers". The story follows the crew of the Machito, who have been thrust into a dangerous mission by the Emperor. But their mission ripples out in ways no one could imagine, to impact the fate of both warring races.

Along with being the better half of our weekly podcast, ComicLab, Dave has been a close, personal friend of mine for nearly twenty years of independent comics. So, yeah... I'm a little biased when I say that this comic is brilliantly written, and cleverly crafted. I've got both volumes of Drive in hardcover, and both my sons and I have torn through them voraciously. We're enthralled by this story.

When I say that you're gonna love this 290-page epic, I mean it. It's really that good. Here's what I'm talking about...
