Evil Inc, week of February 14, 2017 ... and a note on my 17th anniversary in webcomics

This update will mark the beginning of the third "issue" of "Evil Inc" (as reimagined in a comic book format). Issue #1 starts here and Issue #2 starts here .

It will also mark my 17th anniversary as a webcartoonist. The first "Greystone Inn" comic appeared at greystoneinn.net on Feb. 14, 2000.

I did "Greystone Inn" six-days-a-week until mid-2005, when I ended the series on a Saturday, launching "Evil Inc" the following Monday. "Evil Inc" moved to a five-day-a-week schedule after a few years. As you know, in 2016, I stopped updating the site with a new strip every day. Instead, I created a full page each week, updating the site twice a week with partial-page updates,

And, of course, as all of those changes were brewing, midway around 2015, I started working on Evil Inc After Dark — and all of the related NSFW projects — which you have been generously supporting.

Needless to say, it's been a very long, strange trip. Last year, when I tallied up all of the different strips, pages and single-panel cartoons, the number cleared 5400. This year's work will bring me much closer to 6000. I knew from the age of about 6 or 7 that I wanted to be a cartoonist. And, all my life, that's really all I've wanted.
