10/12/20 - Another hiker for the pile :) Happy Monday!

10/09/20 Update- Happy Friday! I'm  getting really into pursuing a distinctly 70s kinda palette for this one and I feel like with this rusty orange and greenish yellow ochre I'm getting close to something. It feels autumnal and juuuust far enough away from reality that I don't have to think twice about if that yellow is green enough for grass or not. It merits further exploration. :)

Also--texture brushes are something I haven't played with in a long time and I'm thinking of making some custom textures that I  can use throughout the comic. This grass looks a little much like astroturf, but it could also double as tree bark in the right circumstances...

10/06/20 Update - Couple more hikers for the set!

10/02/20 Update- Happy Friday everyone! I just had to add a couple more sketches. As I get my bearings I realized that these aren't nearly saucy enough but I had fun with the designs. :)

Hi gang--thanks so much for being patient with my time away over the past month. I can't believe how much I missed doing this patreon and while my other freelance stuff is still kinda dominating my time, I'm in much better shape than I was. 

So anyways, picking up where we left off, I think it'd be good to start off just drawing a lot  of hikers for a little bit and generate a lot of potential characters to play with in the next comic.

Previously I opened up suggestion for hikers before and I got a lot of really great ideas from you all, but I realized I don't actually have a good reason to stop taking suggestions as long as I'm still exploring and designing. So hiker suggestions are back open, I'll keep checking back and grabbing ideas that I think I could do something with as the month goes on.

Hope you've all been doing well, and thanks for your continued support, I'm excited to be back and drawing half dressed girls in sturdy looking shoes.
