December Report

Lots and little happened in December as I'm sure is true for all of you too. Thank you all for supporting my work-- I think some difficult but necessary growth happened in December. In case you miss it at the end of this, feel free to leave suggestions for fanart in the comments!

Here's a recap:

This took a bunch of time and I didn't really talk about during the process-- I REWORKED MY DANG WEBSITE SO IT IS FUNCTIONAL: 

It's been frustrating to not have a permanent home for a lot of my work, or a place to sell physical products and stuff-- Gumroad is totally fine for digital stuff but it's not perfect for physical fulfillment and I'd like to set up a new method. 

I think the best part of it is a home for all my "finished" art. It might be nice to add a blog/tutorials section. Most of all I'm grateful for you all giving me a reason to have a website and for supporting all the work that goes on it. Thank  you for your generosity ♥

There was a little bit of animation that got finished at the beginning of the month.

Kinda kept with a little theme of keeping sketches simpler for a while.

I spent some time trying to unpack and understand my fascination with resin models and how they photograph. With...results? Some results? 

I think I'm going to have to spend some more time digesting this study to figure out what I can take from it and inject back into my work.

I think I finally got through the backlog of fanart ideas from the last poll, they were all good suggestions and I really wanted to do them all.

This last Frazetta bit of fanart was really refreshing to take on as well, I don't know if it was just the simplicity of rendering or what, but I had a lot of fun with it.

And I liked the drawings I explored along the way also...

That's...more than I thought I would get through this month, honestly. I hope you all had a happy holiday season and aren't filled with too much dread at the prospect of getting back to work :)
