Chain weapons are OP af, especially for a demi-human species like Fanalis who are physically OP af stats wise, they just need a ranged means of restraining fleeing fuckers/magecucks, and perhaps as a way of extra mobility. The fire whip shit is just a bonus on top of that for extra elemental dmg
