Just wanted to clarify that wei ying has never met jin ling until the first episode which is why he didn’t recognize him as his sister’s child. It isn’t something you’d realize unless you go over the timeline again as it’s easy to forget with everything else going on. They mentioned that the curse can cause hallucinations and so when jin ling was thinking of his parents, so was wei ying and so he ‘met’ him inside of it. If I’m remembering correctly, this part wasn’t in the novel. Glad y’all are enjoying it though I can’t believe that season 2 was so short. By the pace they’re going they’re gonna need 5-6 seasons that are at least 15 episodes each like season 1 to finish the story, there is just a lot to unpack.
