To answer your question - there are certainly lots of great newer groups, but if you think about musical diversity, I don't think there's any yet that compares ;D As a group, they always experimented with new genres, so their earlier music is very different from what they produced later, and each member's solo is also drastically distinct. And as you mentioned, their 'realness' is definitely one of the secrets to their popularity. One thing GD frequently mentioned when making music is, "I want to create music that I can only make at my current age and at this moment in time." So, even if some of the lyrics might seem a bit immature or tacky in retrospect, many people can relate to them. This is why their music always holds a place in the memories of those who have grown up with them. I enjoyed the reaction so much! Thank you guys
