Notice how the Parallel Minds haven't had any dialog since the fight with the fire dragon till just now? That is because in the book Kumoko realizes Mother's control there and sends them to fight her then that's why she attacks Kumoko outside the labyrinth, not some bullshit about her not being able to leave. there changing things that didn't need to be changed and it's kinda irritating.

It's somewhat better explained in the LN, but they hinted at it in an earlier episode of the anime when Shun got it & was meeting with his father & brothers.
