Fun fact! When they were first debuted people thought they're "dance" focused group because they were so detailed and in sync. Also they made it seem like it's easy to sing it. 2024-12-15 18:52:24 +0000 UTCThey are emotional because one of the member just left and its actually their first and only Tokyo Dome concert so far (if I am not mistaken, the first Korean girl group to sold out all seats). It was not easy to have a Tokyo Dome concert in the past. So, it was very meaningful but sad for them. And yes, Taeyeon is the leader because she is the oldest in the group. Thats why she used to hold her emotion back just like in the first video. Even with Taeyeon, they do not rely too much on her as every member sings well in their own range (their encore stage was also great!). 2024-12-14 21:47:47 +0000 UTCThat moment so sentimental because 1 of the member just left SNSD (or "forced to left" - well no one knows til now). So that was the first time they sang the song with only 8 members. Plus the lyrics also relatable with the condition that make it more emotional. That was one of the most heartbroken moment for the group & fans.
